My family crammed in a car for two weeks and drove across the country to Utah. We found a lot of beautiful natural sites along the way and just had to get out and explore.

My momma and pops. Funny story: It started to rain. We were outside and usually, when one is hiking, rain is embraced. However,  mom, a mountain girl by birth, gets the umbrella out of the backpack and continues to hike. Cute. 

This is what the ground looked like until the rain came pouring down and it started to turn to slippery, messy clay. I love texture. 

This doesn't even come close to capturing the depth of the valley.

Nature does what it wants.
